Guide to the Agriturismi of the Province of Lucca

Casale is situated in the middle of Moriano hills, 6 km from Lucca. An ancient building it was used for a long time as a kiln for the production of terracotta bricks. Afterwards live in by peasant families it was in part used as a storehouse for agricultural produce. Recently renovated, Casale has three apartments of different types, with twelve beds in total, furnished with rustic furniture, well equipped kitchens, drinking water, gas heating and satellite TV. Outside is a well tended garden with centuries-old trees, a swimming pool, open from May to October and equipped with chairs, sun-beds and umbrellas, and a private car park. The communal spaces are : a large taverna with wood oven, barbecue table tennis room and a laundry area. The owners make the farm’s production of fruit vegetables and oil available to guests.
